Today was just like any other day, busy client after client, when one of my consultation appointments shows up...she had some health issues that were causing her hair to fall out. We talked about her condition, expectations, and other concerns. After that we talked about her new hair solution, a wig. We chatted about what it would look like, color, length, size, cap construction, bangs or no bangs, and so on. I'm completely amazed at how people completely change their body language, tone, tempo and attitude when they realize they came to the right place. Their body language shows that they are confident we are going to take great care of them and solve their problems. It shows they know we care about them, and we want to give them the best hair we can, because it's the right thing to do.
It's very powerful when I realize that my business has grown into a salon that helps materialize our client's hope. It's knowing that a person with a life threatening illness will have one less thing to worry about. I know that tonight, when I go to sleep, I'll sleep well knowing we helped people in Morgantown, Uniontown, Pittsburgh, and beyond sleep better too. I can't believe this is my job!!!

I was doing some research on a studio that does hair replacement, I moved from Virginia and was hoping to find a place that had the knowledge of where I used to go. I called and explained that I needed in asap because my system needed cleaned and I need a haircut. John worked me into his schedule and he and his assistant worked on me together. They were both so helpful and I felt like they were both knowledgeable and really cared about me the whole time I was there.
